Hi I'm Melissa
My love for flowers started long before I officially launched 7Blooms in 2018. Before I had a studio, a team, or even a business plan, I designed out of my basement for anyone who wanted flowers—friends, family, groups—anyone who needed a little beauty in their life. I’ve always believed in the power of flowers to bring joy, mark milestones, and tell stories, and that passion led me to turn my love for design into something bigger. But my journey didn’t start with flowers—it started in education, where I spent years teaching 7th and 8th graders. That experience shaped my love for creativity, problem-solving, and guiding others through new experiences. I learned how to listen, adapt, and make even the most complex things feel approachable. That same passion now fuels how I work with my wedding and event clients, ensuring every couple, brand, and host feels supported and understood throughout the process. It also informs how I work with my talented team of designers and freelancers, fostering a studio culture where creativity flourishes, and everyone has the opportunity to grow. When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my husband, our three amazing adult kids, our dog, and two cats. I love cooking, entertaining, traveling, and soaking up every bit of floral and business wisdom I can from my favorite podcasts! (Truly, I’m obsessed!).

Meet Savannah, our extraordinary wedding and event coordinator and floral designer. With a flair for creativity and a passion for crafting unforgettable designs, Savannah is a true talent in the world of wedding and event florals. Her infectious enthusiasm and lighthearted spirit make every step of the planning process enjoyable and stress-free. A perfectionist at heart, she meticulously tends to every detail, ensuring that your special day is flawlessly executed. From envisioning stunning floral arrangements to orchestrating seamless logistics, Savannah's expertise knows no bounds. She loves to cook and test out new recipes … and we love to be her taste testers! She’s obsessed with stalking old homes and interior design accounts on Instagram and in her free time she likes to spend as much of it with her dogs and occasionally hit up the golf course! Her dedication to making your wedding dreams come true is simply amazing, and with her by your side, you can rest assured that your big day will be nothing short of magical.

Meet Dave, our exceptional Lead Designer and Studio Manager, boasting an impressive 35-plus years of experience in the floral design and management industry. A true maestro of design and an award-winning horticulturalist, he possesses an unparalleled expertise that breathes life into every project he touches. What sets Dave apart is his innovative approach to floral arrangements, as he masterfully infuses foraged materials to enhance his designs. By incorporating elements from nature into his work, Dave brings an organic and distinctive quality to his creations, elevating them to a whole new level of beauty. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he is also an ardent music lover and this passion infuses his work with a unique sense of rhythm and flow. A devoted family man, he brings the importance of relationships and dedication to our 7Blooms team. With his reputation for being super cool and a possessing a daring approach to design, Dave fearlessly pushes boundaries, promising to captivate and inspire with his awe-inspiring creations.

Hi I'm John
Meet John, the steady hand and calm presence behind our flawless setups and deliveries. He leads our team of dedicated staff, orchestrating setups, deliveries, large-scale floral and decor installations, and midnight breakdowns with unmatched expertise. He is mild-mannered and soft-spoken, yet his attention to detail and quiet strength make him the perfect leader for challenging, fast-paced jobs. No matter how big or complex the task, John’s calm demeanor and grace inspire the installation team to operate at their best, ensuring every venue is left flawless upon departure. Outside of his role, John is a passionate coder, channeling his creativity into developing video games. Currently launching his second game, John exemplifies how innovation and artistry can flourish in diverse ways. His passion for creation and problem-solving enriches his work with our team and is just what is needed for this essential part of the floral team.
