Welcome to our very first blog post. We are 7Blooms, your premier wedding and event florist located in the heart of Main Line Philadelphia.
The 7Blooms Story
7Blooms is the sister company to Amaranth Florist, our custom retail floral business that has been a jewel of Main Line Philadelphia, owned and operated by Melissa Parker. Although Amaranth Florist has been around for 30+ years, Melissa took ownership in August 2018 and began the process of honoring relationships with long-time customers while developing a new clientele. Now in her 5th year of owning Amaranth, Melissa successfully rebranded and repositioned the business, by improving the aesthetic and offerings, moving into a new large building, significantly growing and upgrading the wedding and event division, and expanding the corporate client list, which now includes multiple top-tier companies, law firms, restaurants, country clubs, and universities.
As Amaranth Florist blossomed, Melissa realized the unique demands and intricate details required for luxury weddings and events. To cater to this specialized need, and to ensure that cherished clients receive unparalleled dedication and expertise, she envisioned 7Blooms. Amaranth Florist is not going anywhere! Melissa remains deeply committed to the retail roots of the business and will continue to serve the community with daily flower deliveries throughout the Main Line and Philadelphia. However, the separation allows the businesses to focus on the unique strengths of each entity and provide even more tailored services to clients.
With a clear creative vision and a strong dedication to delivering exceptional customer experiences, Melissa and her talented team have won numerous industry awards and have been recognized as one of the top floral designers in the area. But most importantly, she and her team love making that one-on-one connection with clients, so that each floral creation is unique, personal, and meaningful. When she’s not having fun with flowers, Melissa can be found with her husband, three adult children, three cats, and a dog.
